intake application process

Before reaching out to schedule your intake, please thoroughly read and review the Pet Preservation Service Agreement and Pricing below. Intakes will be scheduled in the order that completed Service Agreements are received. Intake appointments are available Mondays from 3-5 pm, Wednesdays from 11-5 pm, and Sundays from 11-2 pm and take approximately 30 minutes. Exact studio location will be shared 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment once all preliminaries have been completed.

Please see the FAQ prior to calling or e-mailing with clarifying questions. We receive MANY inquiries every day as the only pet preservationist in Washington State and this helps streamline the clerical time we have available. Please allow up to a week for e-mail response.

Service Agreements

& Pricing

  • Please review this form prior to completing your application if you have a pet that you would like to memorialize.

  • Please view our Service Menu for services offered & base pricing.

  • You may specify in your intake application whether you have specific final disposition plans such as Aquamation or home burial.

For Aquamation services, we highly recommend Resting Waters Aquamation in West Seattle. The staff is exceptionally kind and responsive, and we stand behind their front-of-house operation as well as their back-of-house practices.

    TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS

For the purpose of transportation to final disposition following your intake appointment, we are happy to prepare you a memorial bundle. This bundle is free of charge, opaque, leak proof, and intentionally bound for travel. You may choose to transport your companion’s remains for cremation yourself, or Aquamation through Resting Waters can be organized on your behalf if you prefer to surrender your companion’s remains and receive nothing back. There is an additional fee for surrendered cremations with no remains returned which can be found on the service menu.

Resting Waters does offer transport services that many clients prefer over doing their own transportation post-harvest. Resting Waters transport is more affordable than hiring out transportation with Boone's Solace, as our staff is much more limited. That being said, we do also offer transportation and traveling harvest options for those that prefer to do Boone’s Solace intake distally so that you may bring your companion directly to Resting Waters instead. If this is something you're interested in OR if you have already brought your pet into the care of Resting Waters, please specify when you complete your intake application. You may organize your Aquamation services with Resting Waters directly and they will reach out to us to schedule transport when the time comes if you opt for that service.

If you opt to do your own transport for final disposition, we will be happy to schedule you for same-day intake so that you may come directly from your end-of-life appointment for Boone’s Solace intake; and then directly to transport for intake at Resting Waters. We work very hard to keep the harvest and preservation work separate from what you experience at your intake appointment. We have a client waiting area separate from the workspace and we trust that you will find the space gentle and comforting with many soft ways to spend your wait time. Intake appointments usually range from 5 to 30 minutes on a case-by-case basis.

If we happen to schedule in advance of your companion’s end-of-life appointment and their decline happens faster than you expect, text message is the best way to reach us for an accelerated intake appointment. A day's notice would be greatly appreciated if possible. Sometimes it is not and we understand that sometimes that is simply the case. You may text (425)426-5440 for this purpose.
